Created in May 1968, Cégep de Trois-Rivières consists of two buildings, including the Humanities pavilion where the library is located. The library has undergone transformations since its opening. Recently, we participated in the modernization of its facilities.
Smart Resource Reuse
Our intervention consisted of two phases. We first evaluated the existing installations to determine the components that could be reused.
By integrating the old shelves into new, more functional structures with Montel Aetnastak frames, we extended their lifespan while reinforcing our commitment to eco-responsibility.
Improvements that Transform the Educational Experience
Then, we enhanced the system with aesthetic and practical additions, such as laminate tops and panels. These modifications to the Cégep de Trois-Rivières library not only beautify the space but also transform its organization, making resources more accessible and the environment more pleasant for everyone.
